HTML:

• HTML stands for "Hyper Text Markup Language" in which we create our webpages using many tags that are used to develop and make our webpages. It tells the browser how to display the contents via series of elements that we can use for the webpages.
• HTML was invented by Sir Tim Berners Lee in late 1991 and published in 1995.

     -   Why HTML is Hypertext Markup Language?

Hypertext means it is suitable for machine readable text, Markup means it sets the structure of webpages in the specific format that run or display on the browsers and Language is called because it allows to users to organize, improve the appearance and link the text with the meaningful data on the internet for the users. While we can't say that HTML is a programming language because programming language have the functional portions but HTML has the structural portion. 

CSS: 

• CSS stands for "Cascading Style Sheet" in which we can set the styles of a particular content as Inline CSS, Internal CSS and External CSS so that webpage look best for the users.
• Father of CSS or Inventor of CSS - Hakon Wium Lie in 1994.

• JavaScript is a programming language that are used for both client-side and server-side and creating the attractive or interactive webpages for engaging the users.
• JavaScript is designed by Netscape Communications Corporation programmer, Brendan Eich in 1995.
