Tata Motors Limited is an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company, situated or headquartered in the city of Mumbai, India which is part of Tata Group. The company produces passenger cars, buses, luxury cars, sports cars, trucks, vans, coaches, construction equipment.

Tata Motors Ltd’s shares jumped by nearly 20 percent in morning trade on Wednesday , 13 October 2021 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and still it is 21.11% with 509.70 INR, hitting a new 52-week high by 519.95 yet again.

TPG Rise Climate and Abu Dhabi’s ADQ said that they would invest Rs 7,500 crore in Tata Motors’ new subsidiary, EVCo, which will spearhead the group’s passenger electric mobility business.

The investment would be through compulsory convertible preference shares for a stake of between 11% and 15% depending on revenue performance. 

Upper Price Band is 557.40(10%) and Lower Price Band is 456.10(10%). The volume-weighted average price (VWAP) is a trading benchmark and indicator is a helpful tool that traders use to get in and out of a trade, that gives the average price based on both volume and price. 

This translates or converts into an equity valuation of up to $9.1 billion (or around Rs 68,000 crore). After October 13's increase, Tata Motors differential voting rights shares stood at Rs 1.8 lakh crore, representing an increase of Rs 29,951 crore in a single day.
